These wands extend and retract, so a child can make shapes that are bigger or smaller as they build. Ball connectors join the wands at every angle. Open-ended building like this helps a child test ideas without rules.
How your child plays with it
- Spatial reasoning — Choosing how long each wand needs to be builds an early feel for size and proportion.
- Experimentation — Trying joins and angles encourages testing and adjusting.
- Fine motor — Pulling wands out and pressing them in uses small hand muscles.

How to give it the Montessori way
Show how one wand slides out and back in, then build two shapes the same but different in size. Let your child explore what changes when the wands get longer.
