A small wooden table shaped like a kitten, with every instrument lifting out so it can be played on the table or on the floor. The natural wood tones are soft, which makes this a gentler first drum kit than most. Children hear rhythm, tune and tone in one place and decide for themselves what to play.
How your child plays with it
- Rhythm — Tapping the two drums with the sticks teaches steady beats and the idea of loud and soft.
- Melody — The xylophone lets a child hear pitch change from one bar to the next.
- Listening — Swapping between cymbal, tone block and drums sharpens attention to different sounds.

How to give it the Montessori way
Play one instrument softly, then loudly, and hand your child the sticks to try the same. Over time, lift out one piece at a time so they can listen closely to each sound.
