Twenty wooden templates for tracing and colouring. Children hold one steady, draw around it, then add colour and detail. It is a simple route into drawing for a child who is not ready to draw from imagination yet.
How your child plays with it
- Trace the outline — Holding the template with one hand while drawing builds two-handed control.
- Colour inside — Filling shapes develops grip and careful movement.
- Combine and invent — Overlapping templates leads to original pictures.

How to give it the Montessori way
Show how to hold a template flat with one hand and trace slowly around it with the other. Offer one template and one crayon at first, then add more as your child gains confidence.
