A wooden bee-themed sorting box with colour holes and sorters to match them. Children sort by colour, shape and picture, learning to notice what makes things alike. It is the kind of toy that rewards sitting and thinking.
How your child plays with it
- Sort by colour — Matching pieces to colour holes builds early categorising skills.
- Notice shape and picture — Changing the sorting rule stretches flexible thinking.
- Place with care — Dropping each sorter in a hole refines finger control.

How to give it the Montessori way
Sort a few pieces by colour slowly and silently, then hand the rest over. Once colour feels easy, show one new rule, such as shape, and let your child try it.
